How they are made

The coasters are 4″x4″ ceramic tile. I prime and paint each tile to coordinate with the colors in the design or photo. Once the design is adhered the tile is sealed with two layers of sealer for protection. Cork covers the back of the coaster to protect your furniture. I’ve been using my handmade coasters for years in my home and they look as good now as they did when I first made them.

 

Tips for choosing photos for custom coasters

The quality of the picture you submit will impact the end result. Most of the current phones these days have adequate cameras so phone pics are generally fine. Pictures with a lighter background produce a better end result than photos that are dark. Black and white pics look awesome! Please do not crop your picture before sending it to me. If you wish to touch up the picture prior to sending it to me that is fine. I do not generally modify the photo in any way other than cropping it to fit on the coaster.

Cleaning Instructions

Wipe the top of the coaster gently with a damp cloth. Do not submerge in water. Do not get the cork wet.
